In addition to the main SoundExposed exhibition there will also be an opportunity for young and amateur photographers to have their work exhibited.
We’re looking for your best photo taken at a Scottish music venue. To enter simply email your best music photograph taken at a venue in Scotland and send it as a jpeg file to soundexposed@gmail.com before 16 March 2012. A judging panel headed by Ross Gilmore (Sunday Herald multi-media editor) will select the best 3 images which will be displayed for the duration of the SoundExposed exhibition. The competition is open to amateur photographers only and a maximum of 3 images per entrant is permitted. Photos must feature either a live performance or offstage setting at a Scottish venue. Winners will be notified by email and invited to the exhibition launch night.

Pictures must be JPEGS under 3MB and emailed to soundexposed@gmail.com
DEADLINE for receipt of images is 16 MARCH 2012 anything submitted after this date will not be considered.
Competition open to AMATEURS ONLY and you can send a max of 3 pics per person. If you are a professional photographer in any field or making money from photography even part time then entries will not be accepted.
Please name files by the venue, band name and your name. Names are needed for the crediting and display of photos and will not play a part in the judging process.
No Watermarks as we will be using these to get prints for the show
Only 3 images will be selected for the final show and these will feature alongside the main exhibition.
The 3 selected photographers will be notified by email and invited to the launch night of the exhibition.
Photos can be live or offstage but must have been taken at a venue in Scotland.
